Pageantry extends beyond outward appearances, serving as a platform for showcasing poise, purpose, and professionalism…
My Pageant Journey

Participating in the pageant was not just about the glitz and glamour for me. It was a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
Like many women, I believed that age and size could limit my opportunity… but stepping on to that stage, I’ve realized it was about embracing and celebrating who I am, and inspiring others todo the same.
Facing the stage for the first time was both nerve wracking and exhilarating. I encountered
moments of doubt wondering if I truly belonged but with each step, I found strength in my
journey, and with the support of the incredible women around me I believed that I could do it. I began to put into place my favorite scripture Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. That verse walks with me every time I go on the stage. Remembering that verse allowed me to walk with my head up, my shoulders back, and confidence overflowing. I know I never walk on the stage alone.
When I reflect on my pageant journey, I realize that one of the most memorable moments for me was when I recognized that my presence on stage was a testament of my strength, courage, resilience, and self-love. Participating in the Tri Point Our Little Miss Beauty and Scholarship Pageant taught me that confidence knows no boundaries…it's not about fitting into a certain mold, but about being all I can be, letting my light shine as bright as I can, and sharing my light with the world.
If you are interested in pageants but thought they were out of reach, know that your story matters and you can inspire others.
